Durham Region's Real Estate Market Sees Renewed Investor Confidence
Since spring 2022, the real estate sector has been somewhat overshadowed by rising mortgage rates and inflation. Early adopters, those who invest when they perceive an upward trend, are returning to the market, signalling their belief in increasing property values and decreasing rates.
Recent trends in real estate suggest a growing confidence among a segment of investors in the property market. Looking back at 2017, when a foreign-buyer tax impacted the Ontario market, those who invested during the downturn saw significant increases in property values.

Investors and early adopters, viewing the market differently than typical homebuyers, are likely to benefit significantly from their timely decisions. Read more.
