Jacob Oster, the goaltender for the Oshawa Generals, has earned the distinction of being named the OHLโ€™s Goaltender of the Week for the second time in just four weeks. His remarkable performance over four games in seven days played a crucial role in advancing the team from 12th to 8th in the OHL power rankings.

Oster's week began with a challenging game on January 1st against the Kitchener Rangers. Despite the Generals not securing a win, Oster's skill was undeniable as he made 30 saves out of 33 shots, including a notable second period with 15 saves. His efforts earned him the second star of the night.

Just two days later, on January 3rd, the Generals faced the SOO Greyhounds. Oster excelled once again, blocking 42 of 43 shots, which significantly contributed to the team's rebound from their previous loss. His performance in this game led to him being named the nightโ€™s first star.

The team then embarked on a tour to Michigan, with their first game against the Flint Firebirds resulting in a resounding 10-2 victory for the Generals. Oster saved 32 of 34 shots, showcasing a strong team effort.
