Beer, wine, cider, and low-alcohol beverages will be available in convenience, grocery, and big box stores, a change not seen since the end of prohibition. The LCBO will still be the exclusive seller of spirits. The policy includes competitive pricing, no restrictions on pack sizes, continued recycling programs, and support for local producers. Additionally, $10 million will be invested in public health and social responsibility initiatives. The LCBO will also remain the exclusive wholesaler for alcohol in the province. Read more.
