Festival of Lights: Hanukkah's Luminosity Shines in Cultural Mosaic
Happy Hanukkah!! Hanukkah, a Jewish festival marking the historic events of the Maccabean Revolt, unfolds over eight nights with the lighting of a nine-branched menorah. Beyond the ritualistic aspects, the festival encompasses traditions like dreidel games and the consumption of oil-based delicacies. Globally celebrated, the Chabad Hasidic movement has popularized public menorah lightings. Despite its initially minor religious status, Hanukkah has gained cultural prominence, especially in North America, often coinciding with Christmas festivities.
